Vi er David og Fernando, medgrunnleggere av CARIUMA. Kort fortalt, etter å ha jobbet sammen i noen år og knyttet bånd over vår gjensidige kjærlighet til boardsports (skateboarding, surfing og snøbrett) og vårt hjemland Brasil, bestemte vi oss for å slå oss sammen for å starte Cariuma. Vi forlot våre tidligere jobber med en felles visjon om å bygge et selskap som bedre kunne tjene mennesker og planeten. Vi visste at bransjestandarden for "kul-klassiske" joggesko var veldig ukomfortable, og at de store selskapene ikke var sosialt ansvarlige og egentlig ikke brydde seg om bærekraft på en aktiv måte. Vi følte også at vi hadde en plikt til å ta et standpunkt mot de sløsende praksisene som er innebygd i hurtig mote. Det var avgjørende for oss å gjenoppfinne joggespillet. Obrigado,
